Frieda Clark Hyman

Frieda Clark Hyman graduated from Hunter College and studied at the College of Jewish Studies of the Jewish Theological Seminary; later, she studied at Trinity College. While active as teacher, housewife and mother of two, she found time to write poetry, short stories, plays, essays and books, especially exploring the gift of the Jewish faith. Victory on the Walls (originally entitled Builders of Jerusalem: In the Time of Nehemiah) is one of two written by her in a series called Covenant Books, devoted to the Jewish experience. Her extensive writing, her travels, and her many committed activities filled a long life and won her recognition.
